Biography
Raised by the most interesting man in the world, taught to fight villains and travel to exotic places around the world, while getting to “know” beautiful women and utilizing innovative gadgets… this gentleman's life has been quite thrilling thus far. Before I continue to discuss his exciting experiences, let me introduce him. His name is Mitchell, John Mitchell and he is the real James Bond. But truthfully, his life has not encompassed anything near to the adventures of Bond. He is just an ordinary southern boy, born and raised in Memphis, TN.
Mr. Mitchell is a junior at the University of Missouri currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in both International Studies and Political Science with a Minor in Arabic and the Multicultural Certificate. He aspires to be a public servant for the United States of America in the realm of international affairs and foreign policy. Past experiences have shown him that giving back and working for others rather than self is the most fulfilling work one may do in life.
He expresses gratitude for divine inspiration, issues occurring around the campus and support from the Vice Provost for International Programs in founding "Global Communications," which is a blog that would provide quality new-writing, representative of the international community and international events at the University of Missouri and a forum to discuss issues occurring around the globe in hopes that it would provide MU students, professors and alumni a global perspective, broadening their global awareness. Currently, this simple idea his sophomore year has blossomed and has reached over 3,000 viewers throughout the world.
Mr. Mitchell likes to imagine himself as James Bond not only because of the excitement and adventure that comes with 007, but because he has helped give him a deeper understanding of himself, which is where his passion for education, internationalism, diversity, communication and acceptance arose. He has decided to let his thoughts dance and ripple on this website just as the Bond girls’ silhouettes sway and twirl around the screen.
